I haven't asked Scott yet But I'm sure he is blowing something up with his explosives.

He is such a cutie. But he has been driving me crazy since Scott has been out of town. He is a daddy's boy.

Scott took the boys on the annual Rucker family campout this year. Me being 8 months pregnant thought it didn't sound like much fun. So I stayed home. My mom took Dez for the weekend so I was kid free for 2 days. I went out for a girls night that Friday night. Then Saturday I slept in and ran some errands. I started feeling really yucky on Saturday night. So I just spent the rest of the weekend resting.

More progress

I went to the Dr. this morning and I have progressed a little more. I am 80% effaced/thinned and have started to dilate baby has dropped into my pelvis and is at a -2 station. The Dr. thinks the baby is just around 6 lbs. Dr. Said she thinks baby can come anytime from a week to 2 weeks But thinks baby will be here before next weekend. Which will be great cause the Dr is going out of town on the 9Th for a couple days so I am hoping she will be there when the baby comes. I am very excited to meet my little girl!!

Baby update

I went to the Doctor this morning for my first "progress check" I am not dilating yet but I am 50% effaced/thinned and the baby is at a -3 station. I am 35 almost 36 weeks and the baby is still measuring small , (measuring 34 weeks). The Dr. said she is not making any predictions of when baby will come yet. She said if I make any more progress by my next appointment then she will make her guess. She guessed size and when I will go into labor with my boys and she was always pretty much right on. I have never progressed this early with any of my other 3 kids. I also have never effaced with out dilating before either. I usually dilate and efface at an appointment and have my kids in a day or 2. So we will see how different this baby will be from the others. Yesterday I had a lot of contractions, They were coming anywhere from 7 to 15 min apart for a several hours. I am a little confused about how I can be effaced without dilating. So I'm just hoping for some more progress at my next appointment.

35 Weeks

Well, I can say that I have finished 8 months of pregnancy for the 4Th time. Pretty much excitement and misery from this point on. Excitement of another precious little baby coming soon. But all the uncomfortable pains and yuckyness that comes with the last month. My contractions are picking up quite a bit this week. Which is normal for around this time for me. In 2 days I go to the Dr for that start of the "fun" appointments. (I'm being sarcastic). I keep hoping for my Dr. to say ' Its looking like this baby will be early like your others' But unfortunately she has not said that. Maybe at my next week appt The Dr will give me some good news. I have had several people tell me that I have popped this week. I feel as though I have had a big belly for awhile. But Maybe the baby has had a little growth spurt and she will measure a little closer to her date this week.

Sim is 4

Simeon turned 4 on august 30th. We celebrated His birthday a little early cause Scott was going out of town for a week and wanted to be there. He is a sweet kid. He helps me a lot during the day when Dez is gone at school. I love this kid. This is the only smile he would give me. I guess it just shows how excited he is to open his presents.

He wanted that garbage truck so bad. He saw it at target after we went to the movies to see Toy Story 3. I swear he asked about it every day after that. I had to call and go to a few different targets to find it. He tells everyone how he got a garbage truck for his birthday and everyone laughs. Its funny to think a garbage truck is so cool.

Baby shower

I am behind on my blogging lately. Scott has been working out of town for the past 3 weeks. This week is his 4Th. He gets home late on Friday. So we have been trying to spend the weekends together as a family. So being home with the kids by myself and 8 1/2 months pregnant doesn't give me a whole lot of free time. So I'll give a little update on the baby then ill get to my shower. I went to the Dr. yesterday and everything is going pretty well. I started my weekly appointments already. My Dr. wants me to come every week now because baby girl is measuring nearly 3 weeks small and I didn't gain weight She thinks the baby will be small . I have gained plenty of weight up to this point though. So she wants to start checking me for any progress at 35 weeks. I get lots of contractions, which is normal for me around this point with every pregnancy. But this time I have some pretty bad pain in my hips and that area. My body is producing too much relaxin or lactic acid and that makes my hips overly flexible so my hips go out of place very easily and that's what gives me so much pain. Dr. says there isn't much to do about that. But it will go away a few weeks after i have the baby. When my hormones go back to normal. My Dr said that baby is into position with her head down and should start moving less (which she started moving a lot less a week ago) I'll get onto my shower now.... I got everything I needed at my shower. Plus more. She will be a well dresses little girl with all the cute stuff I got.

So many cute clothes!!

Here are some of the homemade gifts I got. Cute little bows, flowers, headbands, wipes cases and diaper holder. Girly stuff is just too cute!!! My mom in law made me the awesome fluffy blanket that i have all my gifts on.

Here's all my gifts after i put them back in bags to take home. My mom bought me a space saver high chair, because mine broke while carter was still using it and I never bought another cause I didn't know if i would have any more babies. She also bought me a new super cute girly car seat!!! Its by graco and I love that It fits in my strollers! Scott and I wanted our car seat to fit with our stroller when we had our boys but the brands didn't match so it wouldn't fit.

I got so many great things and had a really good time. Thank you everyone for the gifts and spending the time to give me a great shower.
