We had some SCARY excitement in our neighborhood this week. This is one of the many news choppers that was over the pecan trees behind our house. The street just over from ours is where this all happened. A body of the woman that lives there was found in the garage the cops showed up at her house and no one answered so they broke in and found her 30 year old son in the house he didn't answer the door. They also found a 2 by 6 foot rectangular hole that was being dug in the backyard (grave sized hole) with freshly wet dirt. They arrested the son because they think that he killed his mother and planned on burying her in the backyard. It is so scary when stuff like this happens so near to your home. It makes you appreciate the life you have.

We put our dog "Flash" in a training class and he just graduated. Sitting is the first thing they learned. So I took a picture of him with the treats he got from graduation. I had a lot of fun going to class and learning how to teach a dog to listen. He did really good and learned a lot.

Here is Carter in his first tie. He looks sooo cute. He is such a sweetheart.

Shandi's mission call

The day after Christmas we went out to dinner with some friends. Scott's mom called us and said that Shandi (my sister in law)had an envelope that she wanted to open with all her family. So we hurried back and IT WAS HER MISSION CALL! She is going to Tennessee. We are all so proud of her. She had a bunch of in tears. Don't you just love how her boots are halfway tucked into her pants....haha. She was in a so excited to go and tell everyone about her mission call that she just threw her boots on.
I looks out my window the other day and I saw my dog hanging off of the playhouse porch. I thought it was funny.

Here is what we all got for Christmas. It was such a great day. I got up really early I am always the first one up. I got ready then we woke the kids up about 6:15. We opened all the presents then drove into Scott's parents house and had breakfast. Later we came back home and Scott and I made dinner at our house for my family. I didn't take any pictures unfortunately. I wished I would have.
