It's Finished!!!

We finished the baby's room!! YAY!! I am so excited! Scott has done such a great job. I love it and it's so much better than I ever expected. He is a a great Dad and husband I could not have asked for better.

I am having a baby shower this Saturday August 28th. I'm so happy to have great people in my life that want to throw me a shower for this baby. Everything was so different when I had Dezi. It's like my second chance.
I am starting to feel yucky lately. Everything hurts and I'm so tired and can't sleep. But that just means that the end is near. Before I know it I will be holding my little girl and i will be one happy Mama. I'm loving all the pink and purple!!!

Garden

I took these veggies out of my garden last week. Sim has been eating the little tomatoes like their candy. Good thing he likes them so much, my little tomatoes are growing like crazy. I get at least 7 a day. My biggest tomato plant blew over on Saturday night when we had a big storm. So I don't think its going to live. It had 3 big tomatoes that would have been ready to pick next week too. I have 4 BIG watermelons that are growing really well. I cant wait until their done so we can eat them.

First day of school

Dezi had her first day of school on monday. She got up an hour earlier then I set her alarm for. Showered, made her lunch and ate breakfast. Then came in and got me to do her hair. She is getting really big and is able to do so much on her own now. Me and the boys walked her to school. She rides her bike to and from school and its really nice. It will be great for after the baby is born for her to get ready and get to school on her own.

New hair and 30 weeks!

I got my hair cut and colored last night. Its so short in the back! It's really fun and so easy for me to do and with 3 kids and 1 on the way EASY is what I want.
I took like 100 pictures of myself cause I looked really dumb in them all. But I finally got a somewhat decent one. I didnt take very much length off the front. I like it this length in the front, now if I can get my bangs grown out that will be great.

So here I am 30 weeks pregnant. The final countdown!!! I am looking pretty big. I looked back at my last pregnancy post and I have tripled in size!! But if im lucky I could have about 8 weeks or less left, if this baby is anything like my other 3 kids. Which I have my fingers crossed that she will be here a couple weeks early. My Dr said my baby is really low in my pelvis already. I can feel her only down low so I know thats true. I can still breathe great cause she isnt pushing up on my lungs and she isnt digging into my ribs. Carter was really bad about being up inside my ribs. This little girl is so different from my boys. She is calm and just wiggles around instead of beating me to death on the inside. Scott has a hard time feeling her sometimes cause she doesnt push or kick hard. But there is also a downside to her being low. She puts a lot pressure on my cervix which hurts a lot. But maybe with her pushing down so much already, when she gets a little heavier I can go for a jog and get my labor started. I'll be doing that starting at 37 weeks. Another reason I want her here so bad a little early is because Shandi my sis in law is coming home from her mission within days of my due date. I really want to hang out with Scott's family and go to the airport to see her get back and it would be nice if the baby was already 2 weeks old. Thats enough time for me to feel a little better and know a little of her routine. And I know Shandi would love to get back and hold her newest little niece. Well i just typed a whole lot and if you got to the end and werent bored out of your mind, good job ha ha.

Rain, Scotts black eye & friends

We went to Craig and Kathleen's (our cousins) on Saturday and the kids made donuts and they had a lot of fun. These 2 boys are so cute!! They are just a couple months apart in age. They were loving the donuts that their big sisters made for them.

Scott was playing with the boys the other night and Carter can get very rough. He hit Scott in the eyebrow with his forehead. Scott jumped up real quick, but Carter acted like nothing happened. Guess it didn't hurt Carter. Scott took his hand of his eye and it was bleeding. He split his eyebrow open. For the past week Scott has had a black eye. I didn't take a picture of it when it was really black and blue, but i wished i would have. Its pretty bad when your 2 year old can beat you up...... Don't tell Scott I said that ha ha. We had a pretty good laugh about it though!
We got a really good rain storm a week ago. It rained hard for a awhile and we had thunder and lightning. It was also in the middle of the day (which hardly ever happens here) It filled all the retention basins up and our backyard looked like a lake while it was raining. But the ground is so dry from the lack of rain that it didn't stay like that for long. The rain has done my garden some good. I have a bunch more tomatoes and zucchini and another watermelon. I'm hoping we get a lot more rainstorms. Its so hot and our plants and grass could use it. I love the sound of rain.
